Vanessa Calloway Stars In 'Letters From Zora'

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Catch a play while supporting breast cancer and domestic violence survivors.

Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway and Gabrielle Pina, the play writer for the play "Letters from Zora" visited the KCAL9 studios Monday.

The play tells the untold story about the unbridled creativity of Zora Neale Hurston: writer, anthropologist and overall Renaissance woman determined to live and die by her own mind.

On Aug. 14th, the company is doing "A Night for Life" in which breast cancer survivors, including Vanessa, and victims of domestic violence are able to see the play for free.
