Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Metro Rail Train In Downtown LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 35-year-old man Tuesday was fatally struck by a Metro Rail train in downtown Los Angeles.
The accident occurred at the Pershing Square stop just before 3 p.m.
LAFD's Erik Scott told City News Service the Metro Red Line was traveling eastbound when the man was hit.
LAPD officers are investigating the cause of the incident.
The victim's identity remained unknown at press time.
