Police Need Help Identifying Man Who Raped Woman During Riverside Break-In

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who raped a 21-year-old woman during a break-in in Riverside late last week.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 5700 block of Picker Street in the Arlanza district.

The man allegedly forced his way into a single-wide trailer and attacked the victim, according to Sgt. David Amador of the Riverside Police Department.

The woman told authorities she didn't get a good look at the assailant's face.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the crime was encouraged to call Det. Karla Beler at (951) 353-7125.
