LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An accident Wednesday morning shut down four lanes of the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles.

The crash was reported at 5:22 a.m. at Wilshire Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.

Four lanes, including the carpool lane, were blocked until about 6:25 a.m.

No further information about the accident was known.
