Public's Help Sought In Identifying Suspect Wanted In 6 Sexual Battery Cases In Tustin

TUSTIN (CBSLA.com) — Tustin police were asking the public's help Thursday in identifying a suspect wanted in six sexual battery cases in the past two months.

The incidents have taken place since June at various locations from apartment complexes to public sidewalks.

The suspect reportedly approached the females from behind and either groped the victims' buttocks or pulled their pants down.

Then the suspect fled, and in some cases, apologized as he ran way, according to police.

He is described as white or light-skinned Hispanic, between 18 and 20 years old with a thin build.

The suspect may also have a tattoo on one of his arms.

A witness in one incident described a vehicle associated with the suspect as an older "boxy" black sedan.
