Crystal Cathedral Founder Hospitalized After Fall

ORANGE (CBSLA.com/AP) — Rev. Robert Schuller, the founder of the Crystal Cathedral, was recovering in an Orange County hospital Thursday after suffering a fall at his home.

Schuller has been in the hospital since Saturday, his daughter, Carol Schiller Milner, said.

Milner said her 86-year-old father was doing well and was expected to return home soon.

Schuller started the Garden Grove church in 1955 and eventually began broadcasting sermons nationwide as its following grew.

The Crystal Cathedral is now owned by the Roman Catholic Church.
