BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday were investigating the shooting of a liquor store clerk who was wounded during an attempted robbery.
The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 14300 block of Bellflower Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

The clerk was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He was expected to fully recover.
