Barstow Mother Of 3 Reported Missing In Mojave Desert

BARSTOW (CBSLA.com) — A 44-year-old Barstow mother of three went for a walk in the Mojave Desert on Thursday morning and hasn't been seen since.

Officials say they have been searching for Priscilla Delzell for two days and she went missing without a trace.

Her husband Carl and family told San Bernardino County Sheriffs Delzell went for a walk about 11:20 a.m..

Temperatures in the desert reportedly reached 106 degrees Friday.

A family friend told the Desert Dispatch that Delzell wasn't feeling well earlier in the week and that she was last seen wearing a pink and white striped shirt.

Search crews, a helicopter and a K-9 unit are all aiding in the search.

Delzell is 5 feet 5 inches tall, she has brown hair and blue eyes.
