Mayor Garcetti To Resume Naval Reserve Duties This Weekend In Bell
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Mayor Eric Garcetti will resume his part-time duties in the United States Navy this weekend at a base in Bell, his office confirmed Friday.
The Mayor is a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has worked about 40 days a year in the Information Dominance Corps since his 2005 enlistment.
Garcetti will spend Saturday and Sunday at the Navy Operational Support Center in Bell, but will be available for pressing city matters if needed, a spokesperson said.
