Man Accused In Stabbing In Parking Lot Of Alhambra Home Depot

ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday were searching for a 36-year-old man wanted in connection with a stabbing of a man in the parking lot of a Home Depot store in Alhambra.

Alhambra police said in a department statement that officers received an 8:47 a.m. call of a stabbing at the store at 500 South Marengo. Upon arriving on scene, officers learned that the victim had drove into the lot and made contact with the suspect.

"For reasons that are still unclear, the suspect attacked the victim repeatedly punching and stabbing him," the statement said.

The victim was taken to Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center where he is reported to be in serious but stable condition.

Authorities say the suspect, who has since been identified by police as Juan Manuel Bello Morales, fled on foot. Police say Morales is considered armed and dangerous. He is 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with a last known residence in Los Angeles.

Anyone with information as to Morales' whereabouts is asked to call the Alhambra Police Department at (626) 570-5151 or a local Sheriff's Department.
