3 Arrested In Connection With Vandalism At Fountain Valley High School

FOUNTAIN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say three 21-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of vandalizing Fountain Valley High School.

Fountain Valley police Sgt. Ron Varner says surveillance footage captured the trio allegedly jumping over a fence early Thursday morning. The men then allegedly attempted to cut a padlock outside the school's snack bar, according to police.

After they weren't able to get into the snack bar, the suspects allegedly forced their way into a building where police say the damage occurred.

Varner said the estimated monetary damage was $1,085, City News Service reported.

The suspects were identified by school staff members, Varner said. The men were booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony vandalism.
