Motorcyclist Dies After Slamming Into Pole In Studio City
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A motorcyclist was killed early Friday when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a light pole, police reported.
The accident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at Ventura Boulevard and Radford Avenue, according to Sgt. Donald Kelly of the LAPD.
The motorcyclist was driving westbound on Ventura Boulevard when the collision occurred.
The motorcycle slid into a gas station across the street.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not given.
"We don't know if speed is involved. No other vehicle was involved. We don't have witnesses. The investigators at the scene will learn more," Kelly said.
