Wildfire Alert Level Rises In Angeles National Forest
ARCADIA (CBSLA.com) — The wildfire alert level in the Angeles National Forest will increase Tuesday.
The U.S. Forest Service changed the level from "high" to "very high" due to a heat wave that's pushing temperatures to 100 degrees or more.
Nathan Judy of the U.S. Forest Service reminded residents that all fireworks are off-limits in the forest and cooking fires are restricted to campgrounds and picnic areas.
