Child Killed In Multi-Vehicle Wreck In East LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday said a child was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in East Los Angeles.
The accident involving three vehicles, including a mini-van, occurred at 5:30 p.m. at Whittier Boulevard and Gerhart Avenue.
Two children, ages 5 and 10, were traveling in that van.
SKY2's Derek Bell reported that one died. The condition of the other was not known.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
