Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We are still anticipating a heat wave headed towards Southern California so get ready to fire up the air conditioner.

For the time being we have some low clouds to deal with this morning, then we will have hazy sunshine.

Temperatures inland will warm just a little bit today. However in the LA basin we will still be just a touch below average.

High pressure will start building on Wednesday and continue to dominate and target the southwest through the middle of next week.  We will see temperatures in the valleys well past 100 degrees.

For the high desert temps will reach closer to 110.

Basin - middle 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - middle 80s

Mountains - low 70s

Deserts - low 90s
