Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 18)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A broad trough is slowly spinning away just off the west coast and this is encouraging an on-shore flow.

There is nothing that is going to shake up this pattern over the next several days, so our daytime highs will only have minor fluctuations through Friday.

We are going to hover near average for this time of year.

However, there are a few bi-products of the low that we will experience.  First off, look for a marine layer that will roll into the basin but not quite into the valleys.

Also, we are getting a pretty healthy wind out of the North and Northwest.  Eventually that Northwest wind will take hold and we could see humidity level drop significantly in the mountain areas and in the high desert.  This is translating into a Fire weather watch that will run from early Wednesday Morning through early Thursday morning.

Basin - upper 70s to low 80s

Beaches - low to mid 70s

Valleys - upper 80s

Mountains - mid 70s

Deserts -low 90s
