Author Alan Smyth Discusses His Book 'Prized Possession'

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Author and Greater Los Angeles Young Life Regional Director, Alan Smyth, stopped by KCAL9 Monday to tell viewers about his book "Prized Possession"!

Smyth hopes to raise awareness about what adolescent girls are dealing with every day and provide dads with daughters with practical tools to empower them to be engaging.

With dis-engaged fathers, girls are left with a void and go seeking after the male affirmation, attention and approval that only a Dad can provide. They are often left traumatized from their journey.

Smyth's goal is give fathers a greater awareness of the realities and encourage a greater action into the lives of their daughters enabling a healthy life trajectory.
