Brea Teacher Accused Of Having Unlawful Sex With Student

BREA (CBSLA.com) — A Brea Olinda High School teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, the Brea Police Department announced Friday.

Michelle Johnson, 45, who teaches math at the school located at 789 Wildcat Way, was arrested at her home in Anaheim on Wednesday.

Officials say she is suspected of having inappropriate sexual contact with the alleged victim, whose father reported the suspected abuse to the Brea Police Department.

Detectives say there may be other potential victims. Anyone with information was asked to contact Det. Debbie Stark at (714)990-7638.

Johnson, who was released after posting bail, is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton.

She was named to UC Irvine's Educator Wall of Fame in 2008.
