56-Year-Old Murrieta Man Accused Of Robbing Woman On First Date

WILDOMAR (CBSLA.com) — A 56-year-old Murrieta man has been accused of holding a woman against her will and then robbing her on their first date.

Terry Michael Fine was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery and false imprisonment, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Chavez.

He's being held at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on $50,000 bail.

The unidentified victim told deputies that the suspect accused her of stealing his wallet when they returned to her Wildomar home after a night out.

"Fine refused to the let the victim out of his vehicle and held her wrist and grabbed her purse as she attempted to exit the vehicle," Chavez said. "Fine refused to let her go until he found his wallet."

The suspect then drove two blocks away and "pushed the woman out of his vehicle, still in possession of her purse," said Chavez.

The victim called 911 and reported what happened. Fine was taken into custody at his home hours later.
