5 Injured After Car Slams Into Long Beach Eatery

LONG BEACH (CBSA.com)  — Five people were injured -- none seriously -- when a vehicle crashed into a Long Beach restaurant Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said a two-vehicle crash occurred about 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Wardlow Road.

As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles crashed into a nearby restaurant, Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police said.

All five victims were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, said Arrona.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The restaurant, Hole´ Mole, is located in the 1200 block of East Wardlow.

Authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to call the Long Beach Police Department Collision Investigation Detail (562) 570-7355.
