ISLA VISTA (CBSLA.com) — A 4.6-magnitude earthquake rattled Santa Barbara County Wednesday morning.

The tremor struck three miles west of Isla Vista at 7:38 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Residents in Ventura County also felt the quake.

Two smaller temblors — both 2.6-magnitude — hit the area at 7:50 a.m. and 8:38 a.m., according the USGS.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
