LA County Begins Operating Free Beach Shuttle

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles County will begin operating its free beach shuttle starting Friday.

The shuttle, which carries passengers from Playa Vista, around Marina del Rey and to the Washington Boulevard pier.

The shuttle operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays through the end of September.

The shuttle also operates on holidays and selected Thursday during the Marina del Rey summer concerts.

They run approximatly every 30 minutes, except for a one-hour break between 3:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
