Husky, 5, Stolen From Van Nuys Backyard As Neighbor Snaps Pic Of Alleged Thief

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A Van Nuys resident says a woman came into her yard and stole her dog but not before her quick-thinking neighbor was able to photograph the alleged dognapper.

The victim said the unidentified woman stole April, her 5-year-old Siberian Husky.

Van Nuys Division Detectives are hoping the alleged thief's picture will lead to her apprehension and the return of the dog.

The suspect reportedly entered the victims' yard, photographed the yard for some inexplicable reason, and stole the dog.

A neighbor confronted the suspect and took a picture of her as the suspect was taking photographs.
