Security Guard Shoots Suspected Liquor Store Robber In Riverside
RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) —A security guard shot a suspect Friday afternoon during an attempted robbery at a liquor store in Riverside.
The incident happened around 3:35 p.m. at Indiana Liquor & Market, just off the 91 Freeway.
Reports from the scene indicated the suspect was shot in the head.
The man was taken to Riverside Community Hospital in serious condition.
The guard wasn't hurt.
