Family Friends Say Man Found Dead In Van Nuys Was Father Of 2
VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Van Nuys.
Family friends of the victim described him as a father to two young children.
The man's body was discovered by authorities about 3 p.m. Friday in the 15200 block of Saticoy Street near Sepulveda Boulevard.
Police say when they arrived at the store, the victim was already dead after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.
Family members of the man had reported him missing on Thursday night after he failed to come home.
Police say it's not clear when the shooting occurred but believe this is an isolated incident. They have not disclosed any suspect information.
