Federal Investigation Underway Into Rape Allegations At LA's Occidental College
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A federal investigation was underway Friday into allegations of rape at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Campus officials confirmed that the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights opened the probe this week.
Dozens of female students alleged they were sexually assaulted over the past four years, and they claimed administrators ignored their complaints.
Occidental said a consultant was hired to look into the accusations.
