Dodgers And Galaxy Team Up To Offer Special Benefits To LA Sports Fans
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The 2012 MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy will partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the third consecutive season to the benefit of Los Angeles sports fans.
The teams are offering fans special ticket packages to attend Wednesday night's LA Galaxy Night at Dodger Stadium when the Dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:10 p.m., and for Dodger Night with the LA Galaxy at The Home Depot Center on May 26 when the Galaxy host the Seattle Sounders at 8:00 p.m.
The package includes a discounted rate and features exclusive offers.
The Dodgers are offering LA Galaxy fans a ticket package that starts at $27, which includes seating in the All-You-Can-Eat Pavilion, as well as access to a pre-game autograph session from 5:40 p.m. to 6:20 p.m in the right field pavilion.
The autograph session will feature Galaxy players, including: Colin Clark, Greg Cochrane, Todd Dunivant, Sean Franklin, Rafael Garcia, Bryan Gaul, Chandler Hoffman, Hector Jimenez, Kofi Opare, Brian Rowe, Charlie Rugg, Oscar Sorto, Kenny Walker, Gyasi Zardes, and Associate Head Coach Dave Sarachan.
Fans who purchase their tickets through www.dodgers.com/galaxy will have the opportunity to get autographs from these players, and will be able to have their picture taken with the 2011 and 2012 MLS Cup Trophies.
La Galaxy players will be participating in the pregame jersey exchange and the ceremonial first pitch. Fans will be able to enjoy unlimited Dodger dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, and refreshments, all included in the price of their ticket.
Dodger Night with the Galaxy at The Home Depot Center on May 26 will feature All-Star Dodger first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who will join the Galaxy for pregame ceremonies.
Fans who purchase a VIP Package will have the chance to meet Gonzalez in a private autograph session. Space for the package is limited to the first 50 buyers, with a portion of the proceeds going to the LA Galaxy Foundation.
The VIP Package costs $175, and includes one Home Depot Center midfield club seat, in-seat food and non-alcoholic drink service, and a commemorative Galaxy/Dodger scarf for the first 400 buyers.
The general admission package includes one general admission ticket ($30), or endline ticket ($35), or sideline ticket ($42), as well as a commemorative Galaxy/Dodger scarf for the first 400 buyers.
All fans who purchase the special Dodger Night offer for the Galaxy match on May 26 will have the opportunity to enter to win a Galaxy and Dodgers co-signed baseball.
