'Two And A Half Men' Renewed Without The Half

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — CBS has renewed the popular comedy "Two and a Half Men" with series stars Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher both returning.

The "half" -- namely actor Angus T. Jones -- will not be a regular.

Jones being dropped as a regular comes as a surprise to no one. Last year the 19-year-old was vocal about his displeasure with the show (he called it "filth") and recently he said he wanted to attend college full time.

As a series regular under contract, Jones made a reported $350,000 per episode.
