Piano playing, a sing-a-long and a silent film short are only for starters.

The Old Town Music Hall Movie Theatre in El Segundo (140 Richmond Street, 90245)  treats audiences to a movie-going evening the way people watched movies — before Sensurround or 3-D.

Silent films are accompanied by a Wurlitzer,  a 1925 pipe organ. And then a main feature (currently 1935’s “Top Hat” with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers) is played.

In addition to movies, the playhouse often offers up unique musical acts. The Riverboat Dixie Jazz Band performs Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.

The Theatre is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with matinees on the weekend.

Snacks are also priced at $2.
