STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Three-time World Champion Surfer Tom Curren stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to tell viewers about his new album, “In Plain View”!

Curren began building his “surfing legend” status on the perfect point breaks near his hometown of Santa Barbara.

After winning three world championships by the age of 26, Curren made the surprising decision to retreat from the glare of competitive surfing to embrace his musical roots.

“In Plain View” was released on April 2, and Curren will be headlining on April 23 at 8 p.m. at The Mint at 6010 W. Pico Blvd.
