Powerball Ticket Worth More Than $500K Sold At Arco Station In LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Someone in Los Angeles may be holding a Powerball ticket worth more than $500,000.
California lottery officials Sunday said the winning ticket matched five of the six winning numbers and was sold at an Arco located at 3949 Dennison Street.
The ticket bears the numbers 6, 39, 8, 30 and 48, but failed to hit the Powerball number 20.
One other Californian hit those same five numbers. That winning ticket was sold at Rotten Robbie in Lakeport in Lake County, which is about 60 miles north of San Francisco.
Both tickets will split $1,003,786.
The jackpot for Wednesday's draw is an estimated $116 million. The estimated cash value? $75.6 million.
Powerball costs $2 per play.
