10-Year-Old Boy Raises Awareness For Ocean Conservation

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — At just 10 years old, Wyatt Workman has authored a book and created a six-minute Claymation film called, "Save the Sea from the Trash Monster."

A recipient of the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes, Workman has combined his passion for art with his love for the ocean to raise awareness for ocean conservation.

His book, modeled after his film, depicts a story of dying sea creatures and a human who holds the secret to overcoming the "Trash Monster."
