1 Hurt In Fiery Crash On Transition Road Near Silver Lake District
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person was hurt when their vehicle overturned and burst into flames on the Golden State (5) Freeway near the Silver Lake District.
The accident was reported about 2:51 a.m. Sunday on the transition road from the northbound 5 Freeway to the southbound Glendale (2) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol Officer Cheyenne Quesada.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
A 30-minute SigAlert was issued for the transition road to allow for crews to clean-up and investigate.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
