2 Freed From Wreckage Following Pasadena Collision

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Two people were injured following a collision in Pasadena.

The two-car crash at the intersection of California Boulevard and Euclid Avenue was reported about 2:10 a.m. Saturday.

Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and had to be freed.

They were taken to an area hospital where one was listed in critical condition, said Pasadena Fire Department Battalion Chief Jon Trautwein.

The other driver was reportedly in stable condition.

Pasadena police said in a department statement that both vehicles had sustained "significant damage."

The cause of the accident was not known.
