Ex-Housekeeper Claims Sharon Stone Fired Her Over Back Injury

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sharon Stone's former housekeeper sued the actress for allegedly firing her over a back injury.

Angelica Castillo filed the wrongful termination and retaliation suit Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

She's seeking unspecified damages.

Castillo, who started working for the "Basic Instinct" star in July 2010, claims she hurt her back while loading groceries for Stone last June.

The maid said she told Stone about her injury and was put on "modified duty" by her physician in August 2012, according to the suit.

Castillo said Stone told her to continue doing her duties despite her doctor's recommendations.

The plaintiff said Stone yelled at her and called her "crazy" and "stupid" before she was fired on Oct. 1.

The 55-year-old actress was sued by another housekeeper and nanny in May 2012.
