BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police are on the hunt for a yellow-haired man who grabbed a 14-year-old girl’s buttocks on Tuesday while she was walking home from school with a friend.

The incident happened around 3:20 p.m. near San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue, according to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.

Ryburn said the suspect ran up behind victim, grabbed her buttocks and then fled the scene.

The man didn’t touch the girl’s 17-year-old companion.

Ryburn said the girls spotted the suspect at the Glendale Galleria a week ago and last Friday at the same place where the Tuesday assault occurred, but the man didn’t do anything.

The suspect was described as white, in his 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing between 170 to 190 pounds.

He had combed-back, shoulder length hair, which was dyed yellow.
