IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — The Irvine Police Department Friday released two recent photos of triple murder suspect Christopher Dorner, a former LAPD officer.

Dorner is a suspect in a double-homicide that occurred in Irvine on Sunday, February 3. He is also the suspect in a murder of a Riverside police officer Thursday.

The photos of Dorner released Friday were obtained from surveillance video at an Orange County hotel, said officials.  The images were taken on January 28.

Authorities said the purpose of releasing the images was to show “how Dorner appeared in the recent past.”

Anyone who has seen Dorner is asked to call 911 immediately. His burned-vehicle was found Thursday near Big Bear.
