First Lady's Inaugural Outfits Snag Spotlight

(CBSLA.com) — Whether it be a designer dress or an inexpensive accessory, whatever the First Lady wears has a big impact on who makes it.

The J Crew heels and jeweled belt Michelle Obama wore to the 2013 Inauguration Day ceremony were such a hit that they've already sold out online. She paired those items with a navy Thom Browne coat. The choice had fashionistas abuzz and many women coveting the ensemble.

The First Lady chose to wear another stunning Jason Wu creation, a crimson chiffon and velvet gown, to this year's Inaugural balls.

Her outfits were consistent with her tendency to pair big name labels with more affordable products.

For more information on the designers who created her look visit Jason Wu's website and Facebook page, Thom Browne's website and J Crew online.
