Man, 19, Gets More Than 77 Years To Life For 2011 Murder Of Pizza Deliveryman
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old man Friday was sentenced to more than 77 years to life in prison for murdering a pizza deliveryman in Silver Lake, Los Angeles District Attorney's office said.
Jose Beltran was convicted of second-degree murder in September of 2012 for fatally shooting 25-year-old Juan Vazquez and attempting to murder his two coworkers in the 1400 block of Silver Lake Blvd. on Aug. 7, 2011.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied the defense's motion for a new trial.
