STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Do your kids come home from school hungry?

Chef and owner of Blackmarket Bakery, Rachel Klemek, stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to show viewers how to make innovative, delicious and easy after-school snacks!

All snacks are made with basic and natural ingredients which were used as blackmarket goods during World War II.

Here are some examples Klemek gave:

  • A Sharp: Almond Butter, Cinnamon Apple, Cheddar Cheese, Caramel
  • Nacho Libre: Bacon, Roasted Red Peppers, Jalapenos, American
