Floats To Remain On Display Through Jan. 2

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Floats from the 124th Tournament of Roses Parade will be on display for the public to enjoy through Wednesday.

The post-parade showcase of the floats, presented by Miracle-Gro, will give visitors an up close and personal look at the dozens of flowery creations featured along Colorado Boulevard during the Rose Parade.

The floats will be on display from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 2 on Sierra Madre Boulevard and Washington Street.

Senior citizens and disabled visitors may view the floats from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

General admission is $10. Children five and under will be admitted for free. To purchase tickets in advance, call (626) 795-4171.

Meanwhile, parking is limited but shuttle service will be available at a cost of $3 per person, round trip from three locations:

• Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Boulevard (enter off Del Mar Blvd. or Bonnie near corner of Hill Avenue.)
• Community Education Center, 3035 E. Foothill Boulevard (enter off Foothill Blvd. West of Sierra Madre Villa)
• Rose Bowl Stadium Lot F (January 2 only)

Ticket booths will sell all Park & Ride tickets until 2:30 p.m., according to the Tournament of Roses website.
