Shots Fired At Vehicle Of Off-Duty Deputy In Altadena
ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday continued to search for a gunman suspected of firing three rounds at the vehicle of an off-duty deputy in Altadena.
A statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says the shooting near Harriet Street and Lincoln Avenue occurred about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.
According to authorities, the deputy was traveling in his personal vehicle with his brother in the passenger seat when a vehicle pulled alongside his and fired several rounds from a handgun.
The suspect vehicle -- described as a dark-colored Lexus sedan -- sped off.
Neither the deputy nor his brother were injured.
