According to authorities, no autopsy is planned on Dorman and no foul play is suspected. He is believed to have died of natural causes.

Iron Butterfly created a sensation in 1968 with a 17-minute-long opus called "In-A-Godda-Da-Vida."

A shorter rendition of the song reached number 30 on Billboard's music charts.

The band toured with the song in the late 1960s before breaking up.
