Anna Nicole Smith's Studio City Home Nears Sale

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The Studio City home once owned by the late Anna Nicole Smith is close to being sold.

Smith -- born Vickie Lynn Hogan -- died Feb. 8, 2007 from an accidental overdose of drugs in Hollywood, Florida.

The 4,700-square foot home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.  The home is reportedly being sold for $1.3 million to Rouzbeh Zoka.

The former Smith home was recently appraised at $1.45 million. The home was valued at $1.8 million at the time of Smith's death.

Howard K. Stern, Smith's friend, confidante and lawyer, is seeking court approval of the sale as the executor of her estate. Stern's court papers state the sale will be "to the advantage of the
estate and in the best interest of the interested persons."

The home was made famous during the filming of E!'s "The Anna Nicole Show" (2002-2004).
