6-Year-Old Boy Writes Book To Raise Money For Classmate With Rare Disease
LOS ANGELES (CBS2) — Dylan Siegel, 6, recently wrote a book called "Chocolate Bar" to raise money for his classmate Jonah who has a rare liver condition called Glycogen Storage Disease1b. He is one in a million. Truly a rare disease.
Dylan's book has already raised almost $20,000, and his goal is to raise $1 million towards a cure. By the way, "chocolate bar" means "awesome" to Dylan. It's his expression!
Dylan and Jonah will be at Barnes & Noble at the Grove, this Sunday Dec. 16th at 2 p.m. for Dylan's first public book reading and fundraising event!
There will be music from their school choir, a book signing, arts & crafts and of course Chocolate Bar!
