Josh Rubestein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 7)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Some patchy low clouds are penetrating the LA Basin this morning and portions of the San Gabriel Valley. Otherwise we are looking at clear skies inland.

Temperatures will warm a bit today with a ridge of high pressure bumping in. We are also anticipating some gusty winds along the I-5 corridor and in Santa Barbara County.

Tomorrow a small short ripple in the jet stream will cool us off slightly and bring in some high clouds...however by Sunday and Monday...the high pressure returns with an Off-shore flow.

Right now this looks like a mild to moderate off-shore flow...with wind advisories a possibility. We will have warmer temperatures and very dry conditions Sunday, Monday, and even Tuesday.

Then Wednesday it appears another trough is going to swing through the area. It is still up in the air whether this system comes in as a dry inside slider and swings out over the ocean to pick up a little more moisture. We'll see.

Coast-low 70s
Basin-low 70s
Valleys-mid to upper 70s
Mountains-low to mid 50s
Deserts-upper 60s
