Woman Shot In Leg At Grocery Store In Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — A 30-year-old woman was shot in the leg at a Food 4 Less grocery store in Boyle Heights Tuesday.

The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. inside the store, located at First and Soto streets.

Two men and two women walked into the store at 8:40 p.m. and shot the victim, according to the LAPD.

Officers caught up with the suspects and placed them in custody.

Authorities said the victim will recover.

No one else was hurt.

A motive for the shooting was not yet known.
