Winning $13 Million Super Lotto Ticket Sold
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Good news. Some lucky person out there won the $13 million Super Lotto jackpot in a drawing held Saturday.
Bad news. The ticket was sold in San Francisco.
Good news. Next Wednesday's draw will have a jackpot of $7 million.
Five ticket holders in California -- two in the Southland -- missed out on the big jackpot, but had five of six number's. Each of those five tickets missed out on the elusive Mega number.
A California Lottery official announced that of those five big winners, one of the tickets was sold in Long Beach (El Ahorro Store, 449 W Anaheim Street, #B), the other was sold in Newhall (Gourmet Liquor, 23644 Lyons Ave.) The three other tickets were sold sold in San Francisco, Turlock and Paradise.
Each of the 5/6 tickets are worth $10,792.
Are you almost $11,000 richer? Tonight's winning numbers were 5, 14, 36, 38, 47 and the Mega number was 18.
