Oh Baby! Those 5 Ferraro Quintuplets Make It Home To Fullerton

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — The banner reads "Welcome Home GRACE + 1."

John and Meryl Ferraro are welcoming their quintuplets home after she gave birth to the five healthy babies at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., on September 26.

(GRACE represents the children's names: Gabrielle, Riley, Addison, Cooper and Emerson. The plus one is older sister -- and future baby sitter -- Gianna.)

John told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Jeff Nguyen, "I love the song 'Amazing Grace.'"

Quips Meryl, "We figured we would eventually forget their names, so if we yell 'GRACE' they'd all come running."

Meryl believes the homecoming is a miracle. She had to undergo surgery in June to prevent early labor. "Just the fact that they made it this far and that they were all home within three weeks is just crazy. I mean it's truly a miracle. They're all healthy," she said.

Big sister Gianna is excited to greet her two new brothers and three new sisters.

John and Meryl told Nguyen they have been overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers. Furniture, diapers, clothing ... you name it, it's been donated.

Said John, "Some people have also donated cash which has been helpful. Some people have donated their time."

The couple pen a family blog, socalquints.com.
