Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 24)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We have got another change in the weather over the next couple of days.  Winds will be the big story.

The trough that has kept us cool for the past few days and gave us a little wet weather is exiting the region.  Behind it, a ridge of high pressure is building in and we are going to experience some pretty intense winds over the next few days.

Wind advisories and Fire weather watches have been issued for a large portion of the viewing area.

The winds start kicking in later tonight in the Santa Clarita Valley and the northern portion of the San Fernando Valley.

Then as we head into Thursday and Friday a traditional Santa Ana develops and we will some gusty Northerly and Northeasterly winds.

Temperatures will also rise through the period, peaking on Friday and Saturday, into the mid to upper 80s.

Coast-upper 60s low 70s

Basin-low to mid 70s

Valleys-mid 70s

Deserts-upper 60s

Mountains-low to mid 50s
